Never used beverage can printing & handling system featuring: enclosed 18 head printer system, auto de-palletizer, post production drying unit and re-palletizer. The system was manufactured in 2015 and installed in late 2016. Approximate footprint is 80’ x 60’. It can handle 8, 12 & 20 oz cans. The system was never put into full operation and is currently stored in Morris, IL. The complete line cost in excess of $3,000,000 new. System can, and may need to be reconfigured to meet your needs and print quality specifications. We are available to introduce technicians and personnel familiar with the line who also may be available to perform modifications or assist with commissioning.

Lot 2 – A1          SKA Fabrication Side By Side Beverage Can De-Palletizer/Re-Palletizer

Can-I-Bus full height pallet automatic can de-palletizer and re-palletizer capable of 400 cans per minute. The manufacturer is available to preform modifications as needed.

Lot 3 – A2.1       Sager Conveyor System

Various Sager single-lane and multi-lane table top conveyor modules with Rexnord 3-1/4” tab chain and (4) drive motors. Line comes with (5) multi height conveyor stands and (6) fixed height conveyor stands. Over +-100’ line with: (4) drive units-(2) single filers (8’/6’)-(2) triple wide sections (8’/6’). (3) 90 turns-(1) 45 turn-(4) twists-(1) gravity brush-off. Can be reconfigured to meet your needs, the manufacturer is available to perform modifications.

Lot 5 – A3         Dryer & Helical Inverter

International Thermal Systems (ITS) dryer designed for 120 cans per minute. The manufacturer is available to preform modifications as needed.

Carleton Helical Technologies (2) 12oz can BMH inverters. Model #1039116 The BMH inverter gently and rapidly inverts or rotationally positions 12 oz cans. Low cost integration into any line.

Lot 7 – B2         Printer Modular Indexing Unit (PMIU)

18 mandrel Print Head Indexer- 4 position transfer unit. 18 station indexing system capable of 43 indexes per minute: direct drive Kollmorgen DDR servo motor and Kollmorgen P.L.C high resolution programmable logic controller. Each station consists of a vacuum/air – load/unload servo driven mandrel w/high resolution encoder. Hollow main shaft w/ electrical Ethernet Slip ring and 2 passage rotary union, laser micrometer concentricity inspection. Stations originally consisted of registration, , 4 inkjet printing stations w/ Ricoh GEN 4 print heads and Meteor controller boards. Can be repurposed as decorator for all types of tubes, cans, bottles, etc. The design engineer is available to perform modifications as needed.

Custom Ink Management System designed for use with digital printheads. Consistent print quality utilizing precise meniscus vacuum control. Clear, immediate feedback clearly visible coloured LEDs provide constant feedback on the status of the ink system. Easy to use with simple access for refilling ink, allowing continuous printing through the ink refilling process. Great performance with any ink. Each station consists of a vacuum/air – load/unload servo driven mandrel w/high resolution encoder. Designed as an Analox Roll coating system w/ PTFE diaphragm pump for viscus coatings. Hapalon rubber coating roller. Can be repurposed as decorator for all types of tubes, cans, bottles, etc. The design engineer is available to preform modifications as needed.
