Experience
From banking to private industry, we’ve been at all sides of the table, including managing distressed assets, since 2006. Use our experience to your benefit.
Workingman Capital was created to provide professional, personalized solutions to industrial business problems. Our business focus is to help solve your problems and challenges. Be it asset monetization, valuation or strategic sale, professional advice is essential when your business is in need of assistance.
In 2005, Joshua Sugar, the founder of Workingman Capital, was Vice President Finance of an established multinational manufacturer based in Toronto. The business was going through a difficult time, and the leadership team engaged consultants to help navigate the distress. For several months we worked on scenarios, solutions and proposals, however in the end, the company underwent bankruptcy. The lessons learned throughout that time were far greater than anything Josh had learned in business school or during his time working in a merchant bank, big six bank and in manufacturing. It’s precisely that experience and empathy that are leveraged when we engage with new clients.
We have evaluated and sold hundreds of factories across a variety of industries from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Richmond, British Columbia and from Long Island, New York to Los Angeles, California. We rely on our extensive experience in the investment, banking, private industry manufacturing, distressed lending, business transition and industrial auction sectors to provide our clients with solutions based on experience and results.
If you’re considering selling your business or liquidating some or all of your manufacturing assets, call us. We will listen to your story, understand your goals, and provide solutions tailored to your needs.
We look forward to meeting you.
